This would not be related to anything I've changed as far as I'm aware. Keeping inmind that what I change for the player would change for the AI by removing the ciritical issue check to prevent stacking I might inadvertedly cause more AI by extention player cars to retire early due to ignoreing critical issues.Īt this point I will leave it as is and monitor it more in my game, a good check would be if u notice your guys about to stack, pause the game and check the condition on the second car to pit for a critical issue. HOWEVER the exception is IF your car is experiencing a critical issue then it will ignore the teammate and stack if it has too. When your car needs to make a pitstop it checks if either your teammate is in the pits OR if your teammate is pitting that lap AND needs to repair parts if this is happening then it skips past the pits. Well that was easy It appears to be working as expected. There is a check that prevents them stacking however I think its ignored if the stacking is calculated to be less of an issue than running one more lap. Now this is something I've noticed myself and I know exactly where the call would be for it so i'll check. Not sure if there is a way to control that, but it would be nice if it looks like they are pitting on the same lap one goes early or if the pit is in use stays out. I wont be making a 1.42 Beta at this stage until I've got 1.41 working perfect. the guys who made these deserve to be recognised for the work they brought to the community. I take no credit for the Zoom, Speed, No Micro, Perfect Setup mods. If you test this please give me feedback on how it works ideally im looking to know if anyone has game crashes or if it's working as intended. * Removes Dilemmas from the Race that would pause the race to tell you fuel and tyre warnings that are no longer needed. * Remove Pitstop screen and choose tires and fuel in the same fashion that AI does The degree of the problem is connected to the drivers weight. Its impossible to get better results with the other sliders alone. Problem is that in order to get a better setup Id need to shift the weight but I am already at the max setting. * Apply Perfect Setup on Practice (as per previous perfect setup mod) On some tracks I cannot get to high 90s setups. * Remove the Micromanagement from tyres and engine (as per previous No Micro Mod) * Allow greater zoom and camera control (as per previous Zoom & Speed mod) * Increase the Race Speed Button (as per previous Zoom & Speed mod) This is the ultimate level playing field on the racetrack as your advantages come from faster cars that are more reliable or drivers with better skills etc. the mod basically tells the game to treat the players like AI cars and have them make every decision the same way they would if it were AI. It's important to note that there is not one set of rules for how the players play and one set of rules for how the AI players play. Here there is no such thing.Ok guys, I've been helping out on the No MicroManagement Mod and have been playing around with the idea of completely automating the race process.īefore everyone starts raging on about why we should play the race let me stop you and explain that this mod is not for everyone consider it a niche playerbase who want to win the race OFF the racetrack through macromanagement as opposed to micromanagement on the racetrack. I remember that even in Grand Prix World (Tthe best F1 manager game) you could have more than one setup working in some circuits (low or high downforce) and it did matter in the race if you could overtake easily or not. This also is more frustrating by the big green margins of the mechanic's proposal.Ĥ. Going out-getting response-not knowing where to go in set up unless you change it and see the difference. It would be helpful to have the good drivers (feedback of more than 10 for example) be able to point the way in set up and not trying to guess it worself every time. So a file setup manager would be a big gain on the game.ģ. It is getting boring to start from scratch every season. Having the ability to save our setups of the circuits would be a big help in re-importing them the next season and work from there on. Also it would be helpful if we could import set up changes with numbersĢ. You should add numbers on the previous setups screen in order to understand the small differences. I would like to make a suggestion on the set up engine that it is one of the weakest things in game.ġ.
